Knute Larson coaches pastors, especially on leadership and the church board model (“soccer field”) and preaching. Since pastoring two churches for 43 years, he has now coached over 100 pastors in the last 11 years (arrangement is a six-month walk through his “Major Concerns” implementation).
He is pastor emeritus at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio, where he served 26 years, now lives in southwest Michigan, and is the editor-host for Pastorpedia, a monthly blog and video for pastors (see resources page on this site for pastors, knutelarson.com).
Knute and Jeanine are parents of two married daughters in the Chicago area, and three grandchildren. He is the author of three books and two commentaries, and a graduate of both Grace and Trinity seminaries.
From KL: My deep appreciation to my friend and ministry associate, Fredd Tan, for his care for this website, and help with other technical challenges for me. I asked him to post one of his latest joys, a painting.
